On Friday, October 22nd, all attendees will travel to the Gateway Arch, the iconic monument to westward expansion. Tour the Arch Museum and trace the story of the Native Americans, explorers, pioneers, and rebels who made America possible. Featuring six themed exhibit areas, this innovative and interactive museum celebrates America’s pioneering spirit. Then choose to travel to the top of the arch or view the amazing documentary on how the arch was built. Lunch will also be provided on a riverboat cruise of the Mighty Mississippi.

On Saturday, October 23rd, all attendees will explore the beautiful and historic Missouri Botanical Garden. Founded in 1859, the Missouri Botanical Garden is the nation's oldest botanical garden in continuous operation and a National Historic Landmark. The Garden offers 79 acres of beautiful horticultural display, including a 14-acre Japanese strolling garden, Henry Shaw's original 1850 estate home, and one of the world's largest collections of rare and endangered orchids.

Saturday and Sunday morning a short Wellness event will be held. Get ready for a day of learning, engaging, and connecting by waking up your body and grounding yourself through chair yoga and guided meditation. Our instructor will be teaching for all levels, so step outside of your comfort zone and join us for a good morning!

Thursday, October 21. Travel to the historic town of Ste. Genevieve about an hour outside of St. Louis, to learn and experience French Colonial heritage. Explore historic house and discover the story of early French settlements in the upper Mississippi valley. The campus of the Centre for French Colonial Life was founded by the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of Missouri and is now owned and managed by French Colonial America, a non-profit dedicated to education, research, and preservation.

Thursday, October 21. The National Board dinner will take place at the Deer Creek Club. There will be a before dinner cocktail hour with passed Hors d'oeuvres. Dinner will be a choice between a Filet Mignon or a Mushroom Ravioli (Vegetarian Option).

Friday, October 22nd. Join us for a casual cocktail reception at the Missouri History Museum with full open bar and buffet stations. The entire history museum will be open for exploration. Two of the exhibits in particular, “Beyond the Ballot: St. Louis and Suffrage”, showcasing women who made an impact in St. Louis before gaining the vote in 1920, and “St. Louis Sound” an exhibit on the regions rich history of producing musical legends like Tina Turner, Miles Davis, and more, will give Dames an opportunity to learn about what makes St. Louis unique and how to tell community driven stories. Entertainment will be provided by Dennis Stroughmatt and his three-piece band performing Historic French Creole Music. This lively and educational party will be an event you do not want to miss!
