On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday September 8th-10th, Picnic Theatre Company returns to Dumbarton House for a 10 year anniversary live outdoor theater performance of the cinematic classic All About Eve, Best Picture of 1950!  Enjoy a picnic in the gardens of one of Georgetown's most beautiful historic houses, and be transported to the golden age of Broadway for a timeless tale of ruthless ambition in show business.  

 One night, Broadway diva Margo Chandler meets her biggest fan, the young and conniving Eve Harrington, who will do anything to achieve the spotlight.  The world of playwrights, producers, directors, critics and striving performers offstage playing commercials for Lux Radio and waiting for their big break come to life.  Will Eve attain her dream of stardom, and at what cost?

Please note the performance is rain or shine. Please bring a poncho or clear umbrella. In the event of significant rainfall, the show will move underneath a tent for the remainder of the show. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of weather.
